Festival Photos 2015 - Dance events - Dance extravaganza and Let's Dance

In Stevenage we have a wealth of dance groups aimed at all ages in many styles of dance. So dance nights of entertainment crop up frequently in our schedules. This page brings together two photo galleries from 2015 - Let's Dance and Dance extravaganza.

Gallery - Dance extravaganza

There were a large number of dance groups in this event:
Northern Central Herts school of Dance (NCH), Marriott's School, Britten school of Performing Arts, Stevenage Stagecoach, Footworks school of Dance and Musical Theatre, Premiere school of Dance, Dance for Fun, Mollie Vickers and Claire Brooks school of Dance, Lesnick school of Ballet and NBDA.

The Molly Vickers and Claire Brooks School perform "The Time Warp" from the Rocky Horror Show.

Britton School of Performing Arts performed "Dance Apocalyptic".

Lesnick school of Ballet performed A Midsummer Nights Dream.

Lesnick School of Ballet performing "Masquerade".

NCH school of Dance performing to "Uptown Funk".

Lesnick school of Ballet perform "Cygnets" - a ballet piece where only the ballet dancers arms move to simulate the ballet dancer's movement.

Footworks perform "Where's our happy ending?" - a dance where nursery rhyme characters want a happy ending.

Dance for Fun perform "Mr. Blue Sky" (to the ELO classic track of the same name).

Footworks perform "The Book of Mormon".

NBDA perform "Dead Ballerinas".

Dance for Fun perform "Proud Mary" (This is the final tableau of their piece).

Footworks perform "Charleston Hop".
